01 / The problem
Problem 1
A normal screenshot stops at the bottom of the window.
Problem 2
Several shots pasted together, with seams that do not line up and a sticky header repeated in every one.
Snaproll
Scrolled, stitched and ready to crop, in one click.
02 / Capture
03 / App-style pages
On pages like Gmail, Notion and ChatGPT, the window stays put and an inner panel does the scrolling. Snaproll finds that panel and captures it instead of giving you one screen's worth.
04 / Crop and save
05 / Light and private
Screenshots are processed on your machine. Snaproll does not collect or send data to any server.
The capture is handed to the editor tab, which clears it on load. A Discard button is there too.
No libraries bundled. Even the PDF is written by hand as one long page.
Click the toolbar icon, or press Alt+Shift+S on any normal page.
Tiles are stitched at full device-pixel resolution, so text stays sharp on retina screens.
Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc.
06 / Good to know
Limit 1
It cannot capture chrome:// pages, the Web Store or other extension pages. That is a browser restriction.
Limit 2
Past roughly 32,000 px a side or 250 million pixels, the image is scaled down to fit, and the editor footer says so.
Limit 3
Lazy-loaded, canvas or video content may need a scroll-through first.
07 / Install
The Chrome Web Store listing is not live yet, so for now you load the extension from the source. It takes a minute and works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc.
