Blur (working name)
Hide the private bits before you hit share.
Blur sensitive information before a screen share
Blur covers emails, phone numbers or any part of a web page before you share your screen, record a demo or post a screenshot. Everything happens in your browser.
Blur is a Chrome extension for anyone who shares their screen at work that hides emails, phone numbers or any part of a web page before you share, record or take a screenshot.
Price: Not announced yet. The waitlist is free.
Free version planned, with a paid Pro version.
01 / The problem
One screen share is enough to show a client list, a customer email or an account number to a room full of people. You find out after.
Before
Everyone in the room can read it
With Blur
Same screen, nothing to read
02 / What you get
Hide it by hand, or let Pro do it.
Drag over any area, including text you cannot select.
Hide every image, or every text field, on the page.
Emails, phone numbers and long digit strings such as card or account numbers are hidden for you, including content that loads late.
Your blurs come back when you reload, plus a panic key that unblurs everything instantly.
03 / How it works
Switch on, click, share.
01
Turn on blur mode
One switch in your browser.
02
Click or draw over what is private
Emails, numbers, images, any area.
03

Your viewers see the page with the private parts hidden.
04 / Private by design
The tool that hides your data should not collect it.
- Nothing leaves your browserWhat you blur, type or view stays on your device.
- No tracking, no adsBlur does not follow what you do or show you adverts.
- No remote codeIt runs only the code that ships inside the extension.
